Greek Pine Honey - Sparta, Mt. Taygetos 16oz (New)

Towering above the ancient city of Sparta, Mt. Taygetos is the highest peak on the Peloponnesus and the source of our Sparta Pine honey collected at 2,700 feet. Famous for wild herbs, the mountain is also densely forested with a variety of trees including the native Black Pine, which gives us this beautifully bright and sweet honey. Hinting of cotton candy, this thick, amber honey features notes of candied chestnuts and honeysuckle.

Klio Greek honey is designated single-origin. We source from specific locations with unique terroirs which result in highly sought-after, exceptional types of honey prized among the Greeks. Collected and packaged for us on-site by local beekeepers, our limited-supply honey is pure and unprocessed: raw and unpasteurized, never heated, minimally handled.
